The clubhouse offers two interior spaces for hire: the purpose-built Al Dana banquet room that can be separated in two by a sliding wall system; and the stylish Chartroom that offers an opportune setting for cocktail parties, talks and presentations. Both areas can filter out onto the grassed terraces flanking either side of the clubhouse, by prior arrangement. The latest audiovisual equipment is available in both venues, with WiFi transmitted throughout the clubhouse and marina environment. Our experienced in-house event organising team will be able to assist with all aspects of any function, from catering menus to equipment hire, and advise on how best to make use of the clubhouse grounds and services.
Using the azure blue seas of the Arabian Gulf as a playing field, Dubai Marina Yacht Club is actively involved with a number of high-profile yachting events, from its own calendar of member cruises and rendezvous, to offering in-house management for race regattas for both power and sail competitions. Many DMYC members compete in both power and sailing yacht races at the highest level in regattas around the world, and this experience is drawn on to provide both members, local and international competitors with the opportunity to partake in exclusive races. Drawing on the clubhouse facilities, full sailing and power race event packages can be offered, for either the closed corporate-style competition, or an open international-invite regatta. Dry or wet berthing and launching can be included within any event package, with the clubhouse offering an ideal gala environment for closing and opening ceremonies.
The Yacht Club Marina itself lends itself to a unique environment for promotional events, with the full knowledge that any display will be viewed by the thousand of residents overlooking the Dubai Marina canal. Onshore events can incorporate both grassy terraces, the Al Dana banquet room and Aquara balcony to ensure guests receive an unparalled experience.
