While the bridges spanning the DMYC canal may prevent sailing yachts berthing at DMYC’s marinas, the Western approach to DMYC offers a sailing haven for racers, cruisiers and those keen on learning more about sailing.
Teaming up in partnership with the region’s most experienced sail training instructors and easy-to-sail yachts, the SailOnly! academy organises a number of sailing events throughout the year, and is a perfect introduction for DMYC members of all ages to learn the skills of seamanship and sailing.
SailOnly! is not an affiliated training academy, though anyone wishing to gain certification in both power and sail can easily do so through one of our Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and International Yacht Training (IYT) recognised partners.
