Membership for Dubai Marina Yacht Club (DMYC) is open to yachting enthusiasts of all nationalities, as single, family or corporate members. To proceed with the application process, each membership candidate shall have a reliable Proposer and Seconder to whom the candidate is well known. The Proposer and Seconder should be certain that the candidate has the necessary qualifications for membership, which includes their suitableness to the club and their standing in the community. Either the Proposer or Seconder shall be an existing DMYC member or within DMYC management.
Corporate Memberships require a Proposer only for each nominated individual candidate member. As DMYC is a prestigious organisation that highly values the safety and privacy of its members, all membership applications are subject to a security check and scruitinised for suitability. At any stage prior to selection, an applicant may be deferred or rejected. In such an instance, DMYC is not obliged to indicate a reason for such decision.
